Buying and Selling Game Contest Christmas 2021 Edition – 50 Hive to be won
Hi Everyone,
This post contains a short video of me from my new location in the ‘Land of the Unicorns’. Well actually, somewhere in the United Kingdom. The room I film this video in, is the most likely location for many of my upcoming videos. This room seems easy to set up with a camera and computer. The lighting is quite good. People don’t keep coming and interrupting me. The bar counter is easy to lean on if I start to get tired from talking for too long. However, the mirror behind me could be a bit of distraction.
I have used this location to film many of the videos for my upcoming economics course ‘Economics is for Everyone’. The course will be available on Udemy by the middle of July. The course contains 24 videos, course notes, presentation slides, multiple choice questions, and scenario questions. I will prepare a brief introduction video as an attempt to entice you to sign up for the course.
The video pokes fun at the unicorn craze that has been sweeping the planet for at least a couple of years. Everywhere I go, I see unicorns in one form or another. You name it; the unicorn appears on it somewhere. Who is to blame for this craze? I think Princess Twilight Sparkle has something to do with it. Princess Twilight Sparkle is a Pegasus-Unicorn from the My Little Pony Universe. I believe the character was one of the stars in the 2017 ‘My Little Pony’ Movie. This aligns with when unicorns started to become popular. I think there are tons of other reasons as well but I will use Princess Twilight Sparkle as the scapegoat.
I am hoping the next mythical creature to become exceedingly popular will be the Phoenix. Fawkes from the Harry Potter series is really cool. I think there is a good chance we will see more of Fawkes in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movies. Considering the popularity of these movies, I think there is a chance the ‘Phoenix’ could have its moments of fame.
I hope you enjoy the video. It is something a little different from my usual economics content. I think we all deserve a break sometimes.
